It's hard to un-learn a flinch. Get a Limb Saver Medium Slip-On recoil pad. Get the Winchester branded one at Wally World for half the price. It's made by Limbsaver.

Just for clarity, is that slip on one of those that doesn't need screws, goes over the butt plate and down the stock a couple of inches or so? I was very impressed with Bushmeisters, it used screws to hold it on. Now couple the LS with the Gunny's goodies and this thing is so tame as to be mild in recoil..t

I went with Limbsavers M4 slip on recoil pad. Works great and Limbsaver offers a Military discount.

Bushmaster has them listed for $565 + $21 shipping. I just received one that I had backordered with Impact for $549 + $25 shipping.
