However, you actually put your eye against the rubber "boot", so you don't have the usually required inches of air gap, and so it actually fit me quite easily. Now, the question is going to be whether I "shoot my eye out" with that recoil. There is a lot of accordion effect in the rubber boot, but I won't be telling my mother what I plan to do.

The camo job hides the storage pouch for the sharp scissors, in case you need to run with it. ;)

Hoot - your picture looks like you may have already shot your eye out :P

By the way, when you run with those scissors, make sure you have your broadhead loose in your shirt pocket as well...

Magpul PRS stock with Zel custom adapter with Pachmayr field recoil pad to tame the thumper. I was able to run 120rds of my reloads (factory dupe loads) at my last range session without developing a bruise or ache in my shoulder. Before the Zel Custom adapter, with the factory stock or PRS, I was done after 20 rounds.

Still waiting for the feral hogs to migrate this way!!!

I really like my stark grip. I need to order another one for the 6.5 Grendel.
Hey Dave, how do like your ATN? I have one too and was actually using it last night on my XM15. I've been having coyote problems these last few days harassing my goats. Stowed away in the barn for several hours last night but had no luck.

I like that pad on the PRS stock Nordic. Definitely looks like it would tame the recoil!

DFWDude...I've used an ATN 390 on mine, with no adverse face modifications. I've switched it to a Pulsar N550 digital NV scope (which is a freakin' amazing unit, BTW!) which has a slightly longer boot on the eyepiece. Live fire will tell the tale, though.

You, me and Sheepdawg should get together for some overnight "fun" with the piggies someday! I live in OKC, but feel the need to help eliminate some Texas nuisances. Just doing my civic duty, ya understand.

I put the MK390 on my new Kel-Tec RFB, which shoots .308 and has a nice kick to it also. No problems shooting my eye out or anything like that. So I feel better about using it with "big guns". I have a lease down Southeast of Austin with feral hogs and last weekend's camera also captured a deer, fox, and the usual racoons eating my corn too.

We have lots of hogs around here but getting access to the land can be a challenge.
