I have a First Samco Tactical Grip - http://www.amazon.com/First-Samco-Tactical-Hand-Grip/dp/B000H4UZ5Y. It is very comfortable and gives good control of the rifle.

Out of curiosity... what's with the lonely backwards-mounted Magpul sight on the gas block?

Haha, I was screwing around with some other sights in case I blew the scope off, and forgot to remove that before I snapped the photo.

Here's my now complete .450:

Image

20" upper
Spike's Tactical lower with Rock River LPK and ACE stock
Magpul Flat Dark Earth color Duracoat with MOE grip
Leupold Ultimate Slam scope on a LaRue LT-104 mount

I took it out to the range today; it functions perfectly. Feeds, fires, extracts, all without problem. Recoil is surprisingly mild; it kicks like my Remington 105 CTi II shotgun (in other words, not much at all). It's quite accurate, much more so than the shooter.

Now don't that look slick? How's the adhesiveness of it? Does it feel like it'll stay put? I bought some peel and stick stuff on a roll to do the trail cam that was black. After a couple of weeks on a tree, it started lifting slightly at the edges. I take it this is a step or two up from that? Would you recommend it to a friend? Not to sound skeptical or too nosey, but it's hard looking at those fancy done ones like the R15 and not being able to justify the cost to get it done after the fact.

Good lord that's a short scope. Sure looks nice on an 16" barreled AR. The one I have on mine for load workup looks like it's half as long as the entire rig. ;)
