Suppressors

I just picked up my suppressor from jail and got to shoot a little. My initial thought are that it cuts the noise by about 50% with factory ammo but the recoil reduction isn’t near what I thought it’d be. I’m shooting an AR and I had a Ross break on before the Banish suppressor. I also noticed a lot more vibration after the shot that I’m assuming is because there’s a lot of weight at the end of the 16” barrel. Do these observations sound about right? The main reason I got the thing was so I could shoot out of a tent without blowing out my ears, so I think that it will succede in doing this. I don’t have any interest in shooting it subsonic

Suppressors don’t reduce recoil. So yes. Your experience so far sounds as to be expected. Congrats on the can! Maybe I’ll live long enough to own a couple without doing doggy tricks for the Alpha bet boys.
