$699, That's a great value. Shot my buddy's 450 AR platform in Michigan and really liked the accuracy and the pure devastation too.

I looked at the Ruger at a local gun show Saturday. $800 plus tax was the price for the rifle. You did good.

I found a better deal and cancelled the RK Guns order. Grab A Gun has it for $679 plus $7.99 shipping and sales tax!

Well I passed up this deal also. They claim a 1:16 twist barrel. I had read somewhere else they were 1:24 twist. I've lost interest in the Ruger.

My #1 has a 10t which we all thought WTH was Ruger thinking, but man she's a shooter.

That's interesting, a 1:10 twist. All I have experience with is the 1:24 and they shoot big bugholes with 225-250gr FTX bullets. I had read earlier posts where the results were not in favor of the 1:16 twist. I've generally had good experience with all my Ruger products and didn't understand exactly why the 1:16 barrels used on these. I was sure I had read where the twist was 1:24 but the Ruger website says 1:16. I'm not sure what to make of it all

I bought one of those Rural King bargains. Weather hasn’t allowed any kind of sight-in time yet. But I did get to send a half dozen rounds downrange to check fit and function and all seemed well.
