Shots 3" behind the front shoulder yield excellent results. :D

the buck bomb.. i like that haha thanks for everyone's input!! do you thing the Enidine Hydraulic Buffer would be a good idea to buy? bushmaster suggests it (or the m4 spring i believe) but they also said that the standard buffer/spring can be used

I think I'm using a Tubb standard buffer on mine. I didn't bother switching it when I had my .223 upper on the same lower. Works great for me. I think it was designed to use a standard buffer spring, so you should be GTG.

10-4 Good Buddy, it was designed for the standard spring, so, I'd be careful with some of those trick springs, many were made to slow the cyclic rate of full auto weapons. Having said that, there are many fine replacement springs, if you wear one out, and the DCM guys have there issues too, but they may not coincide with ours. Instead of trying to fool mother nature, you might want to try the standard stuff, before spending tons of money on things that may not work within the parameters of your real usage..t

When I switched from the A2 stock to the 6-pos carbine I used a G.I. M4 buffer and spring with no problems.

I went with the 16". I do not beleave there is a reason to get a long barrel for this caliber. It is not like you are going to be knocking down targets at 500 yards :-)
