Not really IMHO. Maybe it will outlast the plastic one years down the road but so far the plastic one works great, is a little lighter, cheaper, and so far durable. I couldn't see a difference between the Fulton one and the Bushmaster one, although I am sure they are probably made in the same factory. I am sure the plastic one is a little easier on brass though.

I don't believe they will. IIRC Pmags followers are different than G.I. profile followers. Someone will correct me is I am wrong.

you dont need them in pmags.

just get rid of the rib in the mag body and stuff it full of thumper goodness.
