i googled 'predator 16b ak' and found this commentary from 2009 talking about a 60% reduction in black and grizzly bears..

WOW, that writer is way off base. As I recall, the numbers of moose and caribou skyrocketed due to the extra warmth put out by the pipelines. This, of course, lead to out of control populations of predators.

I believe they are only trying to bring the bear population back to what it was, and should be.

Also, I don't recall there being a lot of cattle in AK to bring to market. So, of course Alaskans fill their freezers with moose and caribou. The real issue is, that writer know this, and is spewing his deception for those who wouldn't know.

You reckon there might be another side to the story that differs a little from the perspective of that hippie enviro-freak? He's another one of those spoiled products of political correctness and the public schools that needs to go live naked with grizzly bears!
